Empire score is a numeric representation of an empire's inherited strength. The number is purely cosmetic and serves as a way for players to get an overall feel of how strong their empire is when compared to other players.

The empire scores is calculated by the following formulas:

nation_points = 100 x number_of_nations x empire_level
tech_points = 30 x tech_score x empire_level
building_points = 2 x number_of_building_levels x empire_level
resource_points = 0.025 x number_of_stored_empire_resource x empire_level

empire_score = nation_points + tech_points + building_points + resource_points
